Put a metal plate with center hole in a container with full of water, the plate will sink into water. When there is a vertical water jet hit the center of the plate, the plate will float on the surface of the water

I found that when the plate is interfered when floating, it can returnor have tendency to return to its original place. I call this ability as returnability. I investigate how the radius of the plate affect returnability of the plate
